Alliance Aviation Group founding partner Brendan McQuaid is hoping the design of its Bombardier Global 6000 will make an impression at the EBACE 2024 static display—not in just design, but in the conversation on sustainability.

The 10-year-old business jet features a refreshed interior and exterior completed under AllianceJet. The exterior features a QR code that, when scanned, will display which trips taken were offset with carbon credits.

“So anytime, anywhere, anyone can just take a photo of it and see what we're offsetting,” he told AIN. “We buy a carbon credit and then we choose where we get it, but we can see it moving from place to place if you know what I mean.”

Meanwhile, the interior itself makes waves, literally—it is inspired by yacht designer Winch Design and meant to invoke an ocean aesthetic with white and blue overtones.

There is matching stitching on the leather inlays of the tables, and the walls and ceilings also have wave-like patterns that echo the design of the wool carpet pattern.

“The Winch design team thoroughly enjoyed the fast turnaround of this bespoke interior and exterior refit and we are delighted with the striking end result,” said Winch Design managing partner and creative director Jim Dixon.

Alliance Aviation Group is participating in the static display and also with Transport Malta and the Malta Business Aviation Association.
